The Biathlon Bears program is a three-tier skill development program, designed for children between the ages of 8 and 14.  The program introduces skills and techniques of Biathlon while promoting fun and participation through hands-on learning, interactive games, and club competition events.  It is similar to the Jackrabbits and Track Attack programs developed by Cross Country Canada. Designed for weekly sessions, it accommodates both the beginner and the most experienced young athletes by allowing them to progress through the program from the level that they are currently at.

It is required that each participant be concurrently enrolled in either the Jack Rabbits, Track Attack or Junior Racers Nordic programs offered by any of the local Nordic clubs and be in possession of properly fitting skies, boots, and poles.
