Athletes
who are not in possession of their own rifle (Air or
0.22 Caliber) are required to pay an equipment
rental fee for the rifle which he/she will be using.
Also note that any athlete who is permitted to ski
with a biathlon rifle on their backs must
possess a valid Possession and Acquisition License (PAL).
