| The focus of the
Biathlon Bears program is to give boys and girls
between the ages 8-12 an opportunity to learn the
basic skills of biathlon in a safe and fun
environment. The Biathlon Bears program provides
introductory skills in both the skiing and
marksmanship shooting aspect of the sport.
For members between the
ages of 9 and 12 years of age who graduate from the
Biathlon Bears program are encouraged to continue to
advance their shooting/skiing techniques by
enrolling in the Biathlon Bears Racers program.
All participants
in the Biathlon Bears and Biathlon Bears
Racers programs must be in possession of their own ski
equipment and concurrently be enrolled in one of the
local Jackrabbit, Track Attack or Junior Racer
Nordic programs.
